WHAT IS A SUBSCRIPTION?

When calling Suburban EMS or 9-1-1 in case of a medical emergency, an ambulance is needed to transport you or a member of your household from your home to a medical facility. Your insurance carrier will be billed for the transport but depending on your insurance, may only pay a portion of the bill or nothing at all. Now that leaves you to pay the remaining balance out of pocket. Some of remaining cost may include a co-pay, and or a deductible.

THIS IS NOT AN INSURANCE POLICY

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A SUBSCRIPTION MEMBER?

  1. For all emergency (9-1-1 calls), we will bill your insurance first and any co-pays, deductibles and co-insurances that you are responsible for, we will write off up to $500 per call.
  2. For all non-covered medically necessary* transports, we offer a discounted price.

*A medical necessity is defined by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid service guidelines
